After the conclusion of Noida’s 38th Vasant Utsav, Greater Noida’s much-awaited Pushpotsav 2026 is drawing crowds from across the National Capital Region to the Samrat Mihir Bhoj City Park in Alpha 1. The four-day flower festival started on February 26 and will continue till March 1, attracting visitors from across Noida, Greater Noida, and Delhi-NCR.

This year, Calendula has been selected as the theme flower, with vibrant floral installations spread across the park.

A Blend of Creativity and Floral Art

The flower show features a wide variety of creative installations made completely from flowers. A special attraction this year is the floral tribute dedicated to Operation Sindoor and India’s Armed Forces.

Visitors can explore creatively designed structures shaped like a tiger, Ironman, Naruto, butterflies, peacocks, and several other figures, showcasing a blend of art, imagination and horticulture. Unique installations such as flower waterfalls, jute flower cones, and Assam baskets made using vegetables further adds to the visual appeal of the exhibition.

Spreading Awareness About Nature

Speaking to Happening Bazaar, Pushpotsav Director Ajeet Bhai Patel emphasised the environmental message behind the event. “Through this flower show, we want people to become more aware of protecting the environment. It is everyone’s responsibility to preserve nature and pass on clean air, water, soil, and a healthy environment to future generations,” he says.

Assistant Director of the Horticulture Department, Buddh Vilash, adds that promoting greenery and positivity remains the core objective of the festival.

“To promote greenery, protect the soil and nurture positivity is the motto of this year’s flower show. We have created a dedicated floral installation for Operation Sindoor and to pay tributes to the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force. Along with flower displays, visitors can also enjoy the drone show scheduled every evening at 7:15 pm,” he shares, inviting residents from across the NCR region to attend the event.

More Than Just a Flower Show

Pushpotsav 2026 goes beyond floral exhibitions, offering a lively mix of cultural and recreational activities. Fashion shows, fancy dress competitions, nukkad nataks, dance performances, and rangoli, mehendi, and painting competitions are being organised.

More than 30 schools and hundreds of students are participating, using the platform to promote environmental conservation, recycling and creativity.

Food stalls serving everything from pizzas and burgers to panipuri and local snacks further enhance the festive experience, making it a perfect outing for families and visitors of all age groups.

Visitors Share Their Experience

Nitika Jain, head of Jolly Kids Preschool, says the event provides valuable exposure to children. “We are participating for the third time. It gives children confidence as they get opportunities to perform and speak on stage. The flower show also creates a happy and engaging environment for them,” she says.

College student Stuti Gupta, who has been visiting the festival since childhood, describes it as a memorable experience. “With so many activities and exhibitions happening, it’s a great place to spend an entire day. The floral installations are amazing,” she shares.
