Are you a daily commuter to Delhi from Noida via the DND flyway? Avoid late-night commuting. The flyway will undergo repair work and will remain closed for seven hours at night from 11pm to 6am until March 18. Till the curbs are lifted, those heading to IGI Airport Delhi to take an early morning flight will also have to take a detour through the Chilla border.
This second phase of resurfacing work will be executed by Noida Toll Bridge Company Limited (NTBCL). Delhi-bound vehicles from Mahamaya will proceed directly to Dalit Prerna Sthal, from where they will be diverted towards Chilla, as reported by the Times of India. Likewise, traffic coming from Sector 16 and Rajnigandha Chowk will also have to take a U-turn and move towards the Chilla border.
It may be mentioned that the first phase of repair work was executed ahead of the G20 Summit in 2023 at a cost of Rs 5 crore. The second phase of work, estimated at a cost of Rs 6 crore, began in October 2025 but had stopped due to pollution-related restrictions.
