Tulip Festival 2026: Spring Blooming In Delhi
There is something timeless about tulips — the cup-shaped blooms and radiant colours instantly brighten the surroundings. So, what are you waiting for? Head towards Delhi this weekend and enjoy the seasonal grandeur.
For a few weeks every year, Delhi hosts one of its most vibrant seasonal displays at Shanti Path, Chanakyapuri with the Tulip Festival. This year, over five lakh tulips are celebrating the arrival of spring in the capital, transforming not just Shanti Path but also many other familiar streets and parks of the capital into vibrant corridors of colour.
The 4th Annual Tulip Festival 2026, inaugurated at Shanti Path in Chanakyapuri on February 23, is drawing families, photographers and nature lovers to witness the seasonal spectacle. The festival is organised by the New Delhi Municipal Council in partnership with the Embassy of the Netherlands.
Visitors can stroll through the specially curated Tulip Walk and explore exhibitions displaying thousands of tulips in a range of striking colours. The highlight of the event is that it is free to attend. It features eight colours of tulips, including red, yellow and white, making it a prime spot for photography and morning walks.
So, if a trip to Jammu and Kashmir isn’t on your calendar this spring, you don’t have to miss the magic of tulips — Delhi is blooming beautifully right at your doorstep.
