Noida’s visually-impaired para-athlete Munna Shah won two golds and a silver in the Delhi State Para-athletics Championship held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi recently.
A resident of Barola in Noida, Munna won the first position in both discus throw and shot put. He also won the silver in long jump. Munna will now represent Delhi in the National Para-athletics Championship.
The athlete is employed at the Bank of Baroda and has also won medals in swimming championships. He had won three gold at Delhi swimming championship last year, Hindi daily Hindustan reported. Munna is originally from Chhapra, Bihar, and came to Delhi in 2014.
