GNIDA ACEO Prerna Singh visits Greater Noida West’s under construction STP

The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) Additional Chief Executive Officer (ACEO), Prerna Singh, surveyed the under-construction Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) and Master Sewage Pumping Station (MSPS) at Greater Noida West on Thursday, January 22, 2026. The ACEO emphasised the critical need to expedite both the projects and mandated their completion within the set deadline. The project, valued at Rs 71 crore, is currently 40 per cent complete, with the remaining work scheduled for completion within six months. The MSPS, being constructed at a cost of Rs 9 crore, is targeted for completion in three months.

Timely completion of the STP and MSPS will benefit residents of Greater Noida West’s Sector 1, 2, 3, 4, 16, 16B, 16C, Techzone-4 and 7, Ecotech 12, 14, 15, Haibatpur, Patwari, Bisrakh, Aimnabad, Etehra, Milak Lacchi, Choti Milak, Tigri, and other areas.

It is worth noting that in Greater Noida, four STPs are already operational. Among these, Badalpur STP’s capacity is two MLD, Kasna’s is 137 MLD, Ecotech-2’s is 15, and Ecotech-3’s is 20. With the upcoming 45 MLD capacity STP, the region’s sewage management will be significantly improved. The ACEO was accompanied by Managers Sunny Yadav and Sandhya Singh and other officials during the visit.
