The aroma of freshly baked bread, sizzling street snacks and exquisite delicacies is filling Delhi’s air as the 40th edition of AAHAR – The International Food & Hospitality Fair is on at Bharat Mandapam till March 14, 2026. This fair is being jointly organised by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) and India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), with Italy as the partner nation.
AAHAR 2026 has brought together over 1,800 exhibitors, including 155 international participants from 17 countries. The fair represents the entire food ecosystem — from processed foods, dairy and seafood to spices, organic produce, bakery and confectionery products. It also showcases food processing machinery, cold chain solutions, packaging innovations and hospitality services.
Dr Rekha Lataa Patil, an exhibitor at the fair and a food entrepreneur from Navi Mumbai, shares, “The experience at the fair has been very positive. There is good scope for B2B networking here, and the footfall has also been quite encouraging. Events like this give exhibitors a valuable platform to connect with buyers and showcase their products to a wider audience.”
Visitors to the fair also shared similar enthusiasm. Sandeep Kumar, who came all the way from Panchkula, Chandigarh, said, “It was a great experience. One should visit at least once to see the range of products available in the market. There were many good brands and services on display. You get to see many innovations in one place — from food brands to kitchen equipment and restaurant technology.”
